I just got done reading this build-up and all I can say is: DAMN!!

Nice work man!! That looks like it is coming along nicely. Maybe I missed a follow - up thread but I was just wondering how this is coming along and if you ever got it finished and tried it out. Keep us posted... when you're done your truck is going to kick ass on the trail.

read the whole build and was thinking about a 1/4 elliptical spring kinda thing. didnt know it could already be done. lotso flex. but since youve been beating on it for awhile i think we might need some pics please.

i will try to get some pics on here of it flexin, he needs to limit the travel with an atv winch since it will flop over with the rear axle still touching both tires

Have you wheeled it yet? I had concidered building a simular suspension but ended up going with a four link... I was just wonderin how you liked it? Is it prone to body roll or spring unloading? Sorry for 20 questions just never been around this suspension setup...

yea he wheeled it it riped the frame ot an upper bar mount so he fishplated some 1/4" plated on it and it workes great it has a ton of flex

I'll try to get something together soon. Right now I'm dealing with getting screwed on some ring and pinion set up. Tires are here, after I get those on and get it back together I can see what I gotta do for limiting straps. Soon Guys, i hope.

we went out wheeling last sat. and he twisted the stock output shaft in half and broke another u joint on the rear drive line. so he is ordering up a long out put and some trailgear u-joints
