If it's a first gen, removing the rear seats is as simple as a few bolts and 5 minutes.  Hardly a crime in my book.  Shoot, you could order it without rear seats IIRC.

Actually you had to order the seat since they didn't install them in Japan to avoid the tariffs.

I see nothing wrong with that truck. it looks like a CLEAN mud truck with a rebel flag mural on the side. since  the rebel flag normally implies the south (florida for example) where the is no rock crawling, but mud boggs where that thing would look great in the pit or in the parking lot... lol
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

The body lift with the side steps makes me cringe. That is one thing that really gets to me. I had a friend that did that with his 84; installed a 3 inch body lift and left those puppies hangin. Bleh.

Not really sure about it being a disgrace. but it sure is a little over the top to be wheeled.
