Can't wait to see how it comes along. I am starting mine next month. I am going to tube my rear section. Just have to decide how much of my frame I am going to keep. Mine is also an 82.

I'll try to keep updates. Slow go though, have to wait a week just to pick up the steel to do the bed.

I will post a side view as soon as I put the bed back on it. I had to take it off again to finish welding and priming. It sits a little high in the rear for now till I get a chance to put on my front lift.

Well it's been a while and a lot of money later... Finally installed front lift and x-over steering, 4.88's and a arb locker, full float rear end kit with supra calipers. Right now im working on pulling the stock engine to get it ready for paint then will install Lc engineering pro street, and Marlin L52HD tranny. Ill try to post sum pics in a day or so course its kinda scattered in pieces but you'll get the idea of where im going with it.

Oh by the way....Have a good 22r that im going to be selling and a lot of other parts. Ill try to post them in the for sale section in a day or so. If you have any questions bout what I have just shoot me a PM.

Have the flat bed built and ready, just waiting till I get done with everything else b4 i put it on. Prob be this summer b4 its ready, still have to paint and rewire....speaking of rewire. ..i would like to convert to a DUI ignition or something and was wondering if anybody is using one what they think. Just lookin for other options than the yota ign since I want to rewire the truck figured it may be easier just do away with all the yota stuff and use sumthin diff....Any comments??

Thats a clean first gen you have there. Any plans for tube to protect the front. I know my tube bumper on my '83 saved my head lights and side marker lights every time I went wheelin. Good lookin truck :clap2:
