Starting a project
« on: Jan 08, 2007, 09:41:23 AM »
Hey new member here. I'm originally from the Pacific NW and new to Norcal and rocks. I currently have a 94 4-Runner 3.0 5sp w/ 156K that up until a few months ago has been my DD for the last 6 years. It's currently clearing 33's with a 2" body lift, has Yukon 4.88's w/open diffs, sliders, and some other odds and ends that are all show and no go. I just came across a pile of parts and am thinking very seriously about having an SAS and leaf conversion done in the next few months. I'm busy schooling myself on it now. Looking forward to sponging up some information off this gold mine of a forum. Here's a pic of the Runner in it's current state.

Here's her replacement.. It's an 06 TRD Offroad.. Has the Revtek, 285's, billet grill, limo tint, Volant intake, Borla Catback, and a Split Second MAF calibrator that I had dyno tuned. It put down 230 to the wheels.. little different than the 3.slow. I'm happy with where it sits now though and want to concentrate on getting something built that is capable to play in the rocks around here.

Bought my axles today... rest of the parts should be here this week to start my SAS. Can't wait to get started.

That Tacoma is PIMP! and the runner is nice man i really like that body style and the set up you got.  Very clean, keep us posted, this is going to be a good build up.
