After playing junk for nearly 7-8 years I finally went out and purhcased my first REAL Accoustic guitar.

Its a Martin 000X1 and is sounds amazing, main reason why I picked it is because it out performed a $1300 Takamine and a $2000 Gibson as far as sound quality goes. Standard finish, very smooth and damn near plays itself! I'd recommend this guitar to anyone who's out looking for something new.

Very vibrant loud brilliant sound, full of energy and every crisp!

Man, Martins are the ...outperforming a Takamine and a Gibson acoustic does NOT surprise me.  The fact that you got it for LESS than either of those surprises me.

Retail for this guitar was $719 but I got it for a much better price then that. I was sold on the Takamine, that guitar played very nice as well but also had a nice price tag to go with it.

I'd imagine this Martin will be a good investment as well, price should creep up throughout the years.
