If it has been posted on other boards, such as a tech board, or the sale section, where it should not be, then it should be moved here by a mod of those boards.
If a mod just doesn't happen to see that post/thread (we can not be everywhere), then you merely have to either PM a mod of the board or click the Report to Moderator button on the bottom right of the post and let them know it needs to be relocated.

I want to thank you all for your support. I just would also thank the Men & Women who are serving in our country's Armed Forces! For its throw there blood that we are able to have these debates! God has Blessed this Country with a awesome military that keeps us Free and I for one will not Forget our be sarcastic about. I knew this video would piss some off but, I also knew it would get that true American Blood Pumping threw most as we remember that this is a cold and curl world we live in! Sometime we Forget that because we are so safe living in the USA!

I my self know that we have other problems here in the USA, I move from San Jose where as a young man I made bad choices and was stab three time, shot once & had a eye popped outa my head! But that was my choice to live like that! I move to keep my kids safe and still my son would rather run too where others turn to run from! And He is NOT THE ONLY ONE! These Kids yes KIDS average age in 18 to 22 but yet they would rather lay down there lives so we can have this debate!

GOD BLESS THEM AND KEEP THEM SAFE, AND LORD THE ONES THAT COME HOME TO YOU, I ASK YOU TELL THEM WE LOVE THEM FOR BEING HEROS AND LAYING DOWN THERE LIVE FOR US!

My first post was not an attack on Daguy. I am very straight forward, and I can see how what I said could be taken as rude. I made my comment, and sated my question in a very up front to the point way. If he thought I was being rude I apologise to Daguy and and him only. I realize on the internet it is very easy to mis understand someone. So Daguy, If you felt I was being rude, I am sorry.

The comment about the music was a joke. I do infact enjoy most of Darryl Worley's music. Just not that song. I feel it was over played by the radio and that caused it to lose a lot of its meaning.

BLACKDOG: Of course I don't think we should forget. I feel that videos like that promote the wrong kind of feelings. When I watch that stuff I feel fear, pain, and dread. I don't think that is how 9/11 should be remembered. And yes, it bothers me when the victims of 9/11 are some how held in a higher regard than others that have lost there lives.

I have to say, there were some aspects of it that Johnny Boy has alluded to, that I did feel was unfair.
Like the survivors of victims of 9/11 getting SO much money from the government while survivors of victims of others tragedies did not get nearly the same treatment.

As usual, it it hard to determine intent in the written word. Having gotten peoples hackles up in the first place by us reading "attack" into your first post it just spiraled downhill from there.

Now, in hindsight, I can see your "lol abuse power much" as just busting chops, and not actually intended as hostile, as I took it.

Now that we have gotten past the hostility maybe we can discuss this further, and civilly.
What you have written is very well read.

Everybody gets different emotioins from what is presented to them. I can see how the video would enstill that in some, or how it might instill righteous anger. Some will appreciate it, some won't. That's just the way we are.

Now if we could just get Glen off 'simmer' we might all just get along :disturbed:

I don't feel that survivors or victims of 9/11 should be offered greater tribute than somene who died during a different attack either.  I named several in previous posts.  Victims are just that, victims, and should be held in the highest respect, because they had no business going out that way.  If it is something controllable, I won't give as much respect (ex. Katrina- EVERYONE had warning to get out, several days at least.  You stayed behind, that really sucks, but it was your decision)  Something uncontrollable, like a terrorist attack (ex. 9/11, or OKC bombing, my heart goes out to each and every one of those that died, survived, and the families of both, as well as the nation ) 

Its interesting the different feelings we get from the same video.  I don't get feelings of fear, or dread.  Those images to me represent hope, truth, pride, courage, strength, and yes, anger.

I don't think that is how 9/11 should be remembered. And yes, it bothers me when the victims of 9/11 are some how held in a higher regard than others that have lost there lives.

Being straight forward is fine but TACT is the order of the day. We ALL need to read twice what we write and think how others might percieve it, we also need to think twice when we read and not get our hackles up over a percieved wrong.
