Question on a sas on a 99 tacoma

OK so I a 99 Tacoma and I'm tired of the ifs. Ive heard that i can put a Toyota front axle under it IF its a 4cl witch mine is. SO I wanna know if that true ifs its not can some one point me in the right way of what I'm going to need. Thank all

A toyota stock front housing is not the best option becouse of its narrow width, compared to the wider frame on the tacos. Too use a toyota front axle you are gonna have to source an entire truck or two becouse you need a Ifs steering box a Straight front axle and a transmission and transfercase combo(w56/geardriven). Your taco bellhousing will work with this transmission(w56). There is alot ore that I am not covering but some reasearch on TTORA will help you in your quest, lots of taco tech over there.

THanks I new about the trans the narrow axle I was wanting to know if it was true

actually  besides the narrowness  of the toyota axle,   which  you could easily  ger a FJ80 front axle  and be SWEET

and Marlin makes  adapters to go from the Tacoma W59 transmission to a gear drive tcase for dual cases,  then  just put a full gear  drive case behind the crawl box  and you are golden
