84 runner with 232,000, when we replaced the head gasket at 198,000 you could see the hone marks on the factory cylinders.  Never been rebuilt and still passes emissions with almost zeros with a carburated 22r!  What an amazing company Toyota is.  Dad has a 91 PU 3.0 with 200,000 and doesn't leak a drop of oil from the heads. Go figure

The 1st 22re in the 90 lasted 205,000. The 85 has the original engine, the tercel wagon got 235,000 before I rebuilt that one.

What do you expect from a detroit?    My dad's truck has a 550hp 60 series and I can walk away from him at any time with my 435 kitty...  I need a 'puter and straight pipe for another 150 hp or so...  He does get better mileage than I do though.. But I'd rather get the damned freight delivered and get back home than slug around the freeway...
