lc header "bad toching" my frame.
« on: Dec 06, 2006, 06:38:57 AM »
i just installed my lc header and i had to remove the the heat shield near the brake line just to get it to fit and after i got it running i noticed that it was touching the frame. i called lc engineering and they told me to dent my header with a 2x4 for clearance. no sure if new trannie mount and new motor mounts would help no sign of them being bad or bent frame. i was thinking about using a torch to bend the header towards the bellhousing becuase i have plenty of room in that direction, and if i get marlin's shackle kit it will fit.
