Here are the lights that my wife and I put up this morning.  Our tree is being decorated right now and will be added later.

oooooh  ooohh   aaaahhhh    thats perdy

My brother does that every year. He will freeze his but off for hours puting them things up only to run his electric bill up then freeze his but off taking them down. Those lights are pretty but not worth it to me. I rember him falling off the ladder one year, good thing he only twisted his ankle, it could have been alot worse. Baah Humbug!
Hug your kids, pray for a soldier, and don't sweat the small stuff.

I did it for my wife.  The temperature wasn't bad at all (low 50') and it only took a couple of hours.  Our electric bill isn't usually very much so even a triple bill won't kill us.

The red house lights are normally on and the candles are battery operated which will likely cost the most per bulb by far.

I think I'm just to lazy.  I do enjoy taking the kids around to see the lights though.  A little christmas spirit would do me some good.

I don't do anything fancy or anything that takes much effort. I love the look of well lit house, and putting it up is fun, but I'd procrastinate on taking them down till it was time to put them up again and I can not STAND :tantrum: when people leave christmas lights up all year, it is SO tacky!
I've got a few yard things to put out, it'll be fun. I'll get pics next week unless I get out early one day.
