:driving:ok people this is me 1989 pickup she's running on 31's with land cruiser shocks up back. has mr2 seat's and steering wheel.first time out i bent the front spring's so there are new one's waiting to be fitted. the surf bullbar and stock bumber will soon be replaced with a taylor made item along with the rear bumber, roll bar and rock slider's. i am planning to replace the 2.4 deisel lump with a 3.0l job and bob the bed.other than that im stuck for idea's, so what do you reckon, keep it "mild" though this thing is my daily drive so it's gotta be practical. oh by the way i live in the uk so a snorkle is also on my fabricate list (we got lots of deep water and mud on the army land where we go). would much apprieciate as much advice as i can get, this is my first 4x4 project, i was once a street raceing idiot so its time for something differant.

I would assume he's talking about upgrading to a 1kzte over the 2lt?  A 1kzte has WAY more power and is a much more dependable engine than the 2lt or 2l.

The 1kzt is 3.0l diesel with turbo and has about 125hp. That sounds not quite a lot but I think you can compare that with an gas engine with more than 200hp... You have to mention the much higher torque!

Yes I`m from Germany. I ever thought German is difficult to learn for non-native speakers. But your German sounds good.
Is it common to learn German on university? Or rather exotic?

Ja Voll! Vielen Dank!
Haha....

It is not common to learn German at the University I am attending (or most universities in my region of the US, I don't believe.

In fact, we really do not even have a program and we are trying to expand our German interests.

Ich habe viele Deutsche Freude! I will go to Germany one day, but I am not able to right now.

I apologize for occupying your thread with German matters.

Tschüss!
