front lift springs (on a budget)

Im going to run chevies in the rear and wanted some recomendations on what springs i should run in front? I dont have alot of money soo i cant go out and buy the trickest stuff like  :turtle: springs.

thats what i've been planning on...but alot of people have told me that i won't like it! if i go that way how long of shackles do you reccomend?

yes you want to take the overloads off. i would recommened either waggy springs or s10 springs to use with the rear toyotas. use the main toyota leaf and go from there  between the other two

i've heard the term waggy springs. but i've always wondered what vehicle they come off of?

5.5" shackles seem to be the standard and work well you want to remove the overload and then add leafs to the pack till it suits your need just remember alot of thin soft leafs will work better than 2 realy stiff leafs

yeah your not getting rid of all the stock leafs just mix and match untell your happy with the set up its a prosess of trial and error i do recomend leaving the factory military wrap leaf

NO  the stock front leaves  have very little arch,  actually might be bent the wrong way  if old and worn out

you "can"   take the front  leaf pack  and toss all but the top two  and  then add  3-4  chevy S10 2wd  leaves  to that  and get 3+ inches of lift   and they will flex good too

This is the setup I use and it works great. An added benifit to rears up front is getting your axle up a little further foward for firewall clearance. Here are some links for pics. I run my chevy rear inboard or bounted just inside the frame.
