Dude, do I see a chop and drop in the work's. I was gonna do that to my 83 but I just could not bring my self to spend that much time and energy into the body work to beat it up on the trail.

Are you going to weld the top or are you gonna "lead it in"? I helped a buddy do an old 55 Chevy truck, he leaded the whole thing.

What is that on the back of the dually? I thought gooseneck at first glance then noticed the trailor is a bumper pull. :dunno:
The cuts on the toy are pretty extreme, I like it.

thats a sled deck for carring my other toys  tons happening. got it flexxed cut the front body mounts out and there is about 2in of clearence at the closest spot but my springs are not even revert yet. my shackles are hitting my frame so i got on the cad plasma and made a set of shackles for the front... broke into the harness today... :yikes: pulled it all out must have cut 30 feet+ out of the harness all the stuff i don't need. got the fuse block moved, battery moved and got my new seats starting in on my center consol still getting all the small stuff finished before i start in on my cage. cut the body open and got most of the dents popped out.

here are some pictures of my progress... bare with my working part time and being in school full time doesn't leave much time for fabbin but i do what i can... enjoy

AND....
in the 3rd pic your shackles are mounted wrong. the long side mounts up and the short side down. The way you have them mounted now the wouldn't allow for much movement. The bend would contact the frame sooner in its travel mounted like they are now, which would cause the springs to kink or negative arch before they are allowed to flaten out completely.

as far as my shackles go they only fit like that they are to narrow after the bend to just flip over... i will post some pics of my new shackles! :flamer: and my new center consol :yesnod: looks like saturday will be the first real day of bending

Are they AOR shackles? If you flip them 180* vertically they won't fit? The bend is the same either way right, jus one end shorter than the other? I'm looking foward to seeing the cage built.
