Rig Gone in Seattle Washington
« on: Nov 12, 2006, 03:54:21 PM »
My buddy went to work on his rig this morning and it wasn't ware he left it in his Seattle underground parking garage! So he went to the land lord and got the tape witch showed the lowlife sneaking through the gate behind a car then after a while a truck pulled up to the gate and the lowlife let the truck in. within 15 minuets his rig and the other truck were pulling out of the garage its is a horrible site to see. He just bought this rig 3 days ago didn't even get it registered yet! now its gone. :rivers:

now just looking for some help, Its an 85 ex cab gray on 35 bfg muds black rock crawlers, it has marlin, allpro, and fabtech stickers in the back window. Ill try to see if he can dig up any pic kind of hard when you only own the truck for a few days.

It's just amazing how far they will go to get a rig!  They must have followed him home or something!  I almost don't want to own a toyota!

yea he has a fuzzy facial pic and a fuzzy license plate and they are working on clearing those up but who knows that truck may have been jacked too. so he is now taking in the fact that his new rig is now in pieces on someones chop shop floor. Its a horrible thought. and he doesnt even have any pics of his once owned truck just the title not even in his name yet.

sorry to hear that... it really sucks. Gotrocks had his rig stolen once, but thankfully the little punks only took it for a joy ride and he found it a few miles away.

If we see anything of that description here in our neck of the woods, we will make sure to corner him. Believe me, a new rig in this town would definately be noticed.

Yea I wish it was a cupple of little punks, But I saw the video of the truck getting ripped off. They got in the garage and the time on the camera was 1:44 AM and the truck was getting driven out at 2:00AM. These guys knew what they were doing and what they wanted. But he can always hope it gets spotted driving and not stripped down. Thanks for your eyes and your help.

well the guys were all craked :screwy: out as far as i could tell they stold the tools, the Cds, the cd player & amp that wernt hooked up, and un did the power cable to the amp pulled it through the fire wall and coiled it up behind the seat :headscratch:. The best is they took the luggnut key for the locking lugs and a lock that had no key, but left a broom and maps :dunno:. They also took the spare BFG mud but left the fabtec spare rack that wasnt bolted in. Other than that was just a busted door lock and a jacked up ignition. As for the guys they left phone #s in the truck and a McD's recept with time place so the cops are looking in to that. Hopefully they cancatch them :crossed:

Sounds like the same idiots that stole a friend's truck in Bremerton.  They took the time to swap out the tires for crappy ones (even mounted them on the same wheels) and took the wiper blades.  I think his ignition was fine.

It seems like so many rigs get ripped off up there.  I used to live in Silverdale and my truck got stolen almost exactly one month after i bought it.....and not recovered. Hell, hopefully some first gen dudes up there are getting some good use out of those parts.
