i think you revolver shackles ar on backwards in the rear.

nice toy i like the 1st gens

I dont think I know. If you turn those shackles the right way you would be amazed how much better they will work. Otherwise nice looking rig. What seat's are those (did you say it and I missed it?) Definatly like the Irok's better than the other tires also.

yeah, I got to get around to changing those revolvers around.  I been lazy after not much sleep last night.  the seats are out of some mid 90's toyota car, not sure what model.  not bad seats for free, just had to be power washed.

the seats came out of a toyota passeo, still not sure what year.  they are comfy though and they have good side bolsters.  working on the scooters tonight so I couldn't resist some teasers for you.  (since other people are showing pics of their bikes)

Christmas came early this year, these are the parts that came today.  I should have my trussed axle under the truck this weekend.  I made my own truss out of 1/8 plate, welded on Marlin's knuckle ball gussets, and made my own diff armor out of some 1/8 plate.  I will post pics later of the skidplate/t-case x-member I made.

here is a couple pics of the crossmember that I am building.  it's not done yet, still need to cut a piece out for the d-shaft and finish putting a couple more braces in.  I spent all that time cutting the holes for the t-case mounts and then remembered that the rear one is clocked 10 degrees.  so now I have to build the mounts to, oh well. I made this out of 3/8 plate, had the place I got it from make the bends, I drilled all the holes and then had a buddy of mine elongate them on his bridgeport.  more updates soon

alright, I got alittle further.   my back has been bothering me so I didn't get as much done as I would have liked.  we will add more to the front bumper later when my exocage gets built.   I got my power steering all mounted up, box tapped and ready for the ram, cooler for the steering, shock hoops on, front axle rebuild, crossover steering is on, used arp studs in the steering, front range mount, shocks on, etc.   It is almost done, seat brakets, rear shock hoops, and d-shafts away from being drivable.  here you go, later.

well, I decided to take my truck to the Badlands off road park in Attica Indiana with some of my buddies.  it might not have been a great  idea to go without a roll cage.  I do have some pics of the build be for it got rolled, and we still wheeled it the rest of the day.  I will also be posting some pics of the other rigs, be warned they are XJ's.  At least I made some of them look like assholes when I walked over some of the same terrian they had problems with.  the first ones are pics of the tubing clamp my buddy made up for my hydro assist.   enjoy

Sheeeoot, that'll buff right out.

Seriously though, time to go topless and cage it!

IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

here are some new addtions to my pile of parts.  parts for the very near future, these are three of my best "on the cheap"  scores.  I got some slightly used 30 spline longfield inners, absolutely nothing wrong with them, $125. (now I have to just buy outters and hub gears) '95 t.b.i. vortec 60,000 mile 4.3 chevy with all the brackets and acc., computer, harness, even a new belt. $125
then I picked up some 39.5 Iroks, like 90%+ tread for $600.  good deal but the guy wouldn't come off his first born.  oh well, more for you soon.

all right, I've gone past the point of no return.  not really but my mom said it sounds cool.  we cut the box off today(most of it), put the 39.5's on and beat the front fenders up a little.  definately going to have the sawzall do some more work on the front after I get a new blade. going to put my '92 rear axle under it, i.f.s. hubs, calipers, etc. this week(with any luck).  add some weight to the back for sure.  anyway more to come soon, see ya later.
