RABIDYOTA

i don't care how good she is ask for you'r testicals back!!!!!!!!!

Ramrod

The new owner of the truck didnt think it wheeled hard enough so I had to trade him back the ridgeline so he could fully get it.  Now its time to take these last few days before the tinbenders jambo at the hammers/ 1000 mile roadtrip and get this thing fully road/trail/beatdown worthy.  lots to do, but not untill after I go get some hole in chico this weekend

Ramrod

got the shave and a few other things done today

gotrocks

Looks like you need a diff cover.  That thing is hammered man

boggerunner

Ramrod

its all character, a cover would just be useless weight since the girdles go over the ring gear and protect it

Ramrod

here is some of what ive done this week, its a shame I gotta work this weekend because its really taking away from time I need to built this thing
assmebled shaved axle
installed axle
made gas tank skid
front bump stops
rewired battery and moved under bed
tore apart front axle
swapped welded diff for detroit i had laying around
welded rear diff
replaced front knuckle
braced front bumper and shock hoops
reassemble front axle
build skid/guard for new pse ram
cleaned the whole front of the frame and painted it
painted lower links
put my tcase skid back in
move and remounted and rewired the fusebox and evap box
cleand out my interior while cleaning up some wiring and rewiring my aux fuse box and amp
put in new chrome grill
new golden pitman arm

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike

I love your build man. Really makes me want to get another yota to build.

How do you like that front diamond 8"? Been looking to put something under my jeep and think it would be a bit of change of the norm...

I like it alot, solid and somewhat light and easy to get parts for.  One thing i realized though last week is that ive had the entire front end apart the last 6 times ive gone wheeling I believe

Steve97TJ

How much do you think you have into it? whats your WMS to WMS?

Im running a 2.5 in my TJ and would run between a 35-38 max so i think with longfields it would be pretty legit.

i have no idea on what i have into it since there were quite a few used parts and also ive changed things up a few times.  its 64" wms

you'd still have a pile o :pokinit: from the front fenders back lol.

You should do that composite 4rnr grill and lights though, that's sick.

Looks like the tranny fell through for you pat. I'm working on one though, I'll know in a few hours.
