When did you go to Cow Mtn?Been try to get some other people up there, but i've just been going up there by myself. This winter made the waterfall a little bit harder.I've been wheeling with the local rif raf Ukiah locals, but it gets old real fast.Time to go flatbed, might be cheaper than buying a new bed, then you can dent the hell out of it and not have to worry about it...

Hey man just a couple quick questions.

What springs are you running and how are they holding up?  I have the Marlin 4" springs up front and have the same shackle style setup that you're running (mounted under the frame) and after only 2 runs my springs are already shot.  I have horrible bump steer.  My caster is at 7* and I know I need to fix that, but because the arch in the springs and the low height of the steering arms, I can't put in shims because the springs hit the tie rod.  Just wondering if you had any of these issues with you truck?

Ramrod

i have 6 leaf rears up front and a 5" shackle. springs are 31.5" apart instead of 29" like yours.  rides nice, no wobble except rarely with the 40's but they have water in them.  not sure exactly what my caster is but it drives pretty damn nice.  All of those are reasons why i didnt go with the stock toyota housing, i wanted this thing to be super beefy and drive just as nice on the road.  My rear spring are the old man emu dakar springs with the overloads removed and replace with 2 or three toyota leafs..........they are bent and tweaked as hell but have not broke yet, i wouldnt recommend them

Hyena

did you start on the links yet?  i need to order some tubing for kents buddy, do you want to order some right now?  we have none at the shop.  let me know soon!

Ramrod

yep last night we went through and cleand the :pokinit: out of the shop and moved a bunch of stuff around and parked the truck where it will be.  Today i got out there at like 530 and got everything pulled out of the back of the truck and the exhaust and torched everything off the axle.  I dont think i need anymore tubing right now i should be good with the 100ft i have. wont be able to work on the truck till friday but have fri, sat, sun, monday 100% off and devoted to the truck!!

Hyena

sweet, i didn't know the stuff billy picked up was for you too lol.

Ramrod

yep yep, ill get pics next time im out there, not much to see yet.  Frame was sitting at 25.5" with the 40's before and i dropped it down to 24.5" now as my hopefull rideheight

gotrocks

You doing a 3 link panhard setup or a triangulated 4 link?

Ramrod

wishbone 3 link using the stock tank in stock place gonna be sick, turns out i got tomorrow off from work and also next wed off so this :pokinit: is gonna get slapped together quick, also found another good bed for sale, probably swoop it up on fri

kiyul4130
