Here from Kansas. I guess I never noticed this new forum on the Marlin board.

I mainly wheel in Disney, OK and a little around Manhattan, KS but VERY LITTLE.

I try to get to CO every year, sometimes only make it out every other year.

Does anybody down there have a rust free Toyota short bed for a 2nd Gen? I really need one and will be coming down for New Years at Flat Nasty. Thanks.

Oddmar checking in from Pekin, Illinois...near Peoria. Like to be there for New Year's Whellin but i just don't know yet.

I mostly don't wheel around here, my friend's never wanna go on a run and we don't really have anywhere we can legally go anyways.

The only real wheelin' i've ever done was between Phoenix and LA...some serious solo cross-country but no group trail-runs.

There is some great wheeling in this part of the country. I hope you can jon in for new years.

How close are you to Peoria I have family ear there, small town called Lamoile.

Uh...nope...i'm originally from Pekin, IL, went to Cali and Phoenix in 99, wheeled a bit, now i'm back here tryin to make a living workin' on Toyota 4x4's...been getting alot of calls from having an ad in a local classifieds newspaper, so hopefully it'll work out. The recent heavy snowfall helped remind alot of Toyota owners how useful their trucks really are.

163.8 miles, 3 hours travel time...not too bad really...i've gone down to Rolla to do some shooting with friend's a couple times...
