IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

I see an A-10, what's the biggun? I can't tell.

I mean the prop driven one, not the other.

Thunderbirds should be up pretty soon, I'll get some pics of them, they have been practicing the last few days doing flybys over my work.

The super bigun is a C-17 of course.

Very cool, I used to get that once a year when I lived in Encino, Van Nuys Airport has a show every year and I was in the flight path. I also used to live just off of George AFB and got to watch the Wild Weasels play. There are a couple offroad events that also get unofficial air shows one in Panamint and the other at Superstition which is where the Blue Angels practice.

In Panamint they'll fly right on the deck and then swoop over us at about 50 feet or so then once they get just far enough away so as not to kill us hit the afterburners and go staight up an out of sight.
