85 4Runner from a newbie in So Cal
« on: Aug 26, 2006, 11:17:24 AM »
Hello to all. Just finished my 4Runner and I thought I would share it with someone that would appreciate it. I am located in Redondo Beach, CA and looking for a local wheeling group.

6" lift with Hysteer
35" MTR's on Rock Krusher wheels
5.29 with Detroit
V6 rear end
Bobby Longfield's in the front

I have pictures but, not sure how to get them on here under the size requirement.

Nice looking rig there, Redondo Beach eh, my club has members throughout the basin. If you are looking for a more family oriented club, not saying we don't do some wild wheeling and have some good fun. Here's a link to our bb, you can join the board get to know some of the members and come on a run or 2 or 3 before you decide if this is the type of club you'd want to be in. We have at least one club run a month and sometimes more, we wheel everywhere from Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah (MOAB!!!!) and of course all over California. Like I said follow the link and join th bb, check out our next run and come on up to Big Bear.

I am unable to get the file size of the pictures under the 100 KB. So, I am unable to post them.

When you resize a jpg there should be a button that says options, open that and there should be a % scale. Reduce the scale to 70% after resizing your image to a max of 700 this should put most images to 70-60 kb. :yesnod:

Thanks to 79Coyotefrog for getting the picture up.

Thanks to Rocksurfer for the link. Troy, from Cal MIni (they did most of the work to my truck) said to check out your club. I will check the sight and see if I can hook up with you guys for a run. Thanks for the invite.

No. I'm new to So Cal and only met Troy because he did work on my truck. I am planning on coming up to Big Bear the weekend in September. Looks like campsites are going to be tight. Will I have a problem finding a spot if I don't come up until Friday night?

Since you are new to So Cal you may not know how to get to Hanna Flats, here's a link to our clubs directions to where we will be.
