Newbie from CO, 84 4Runner
« on: Sep 08, 2004, 07:08:59 PM »

I'm in Colorado, right near the top of Hoosier pass, just south of Breckenridge.  Working on the front axles of my '84 4Runner for the first time.
A $500.00 "basket case" that I purchased two years ago, with the top end all torn apart...  Redid the head, put a Weber on it.  It's ALIVE!

This is actually my first 4WD truck/suv!  Usually spend a lot of time riding my Yamaha motorcycles too, and SKIING!  Hence the nick SnoKarver...

Been using this site as a resource for a while, and now I'm customer.

Welcome aboard  :beerchug: I'm somewhat fond of the Yamahas myself. I managed a shop in the mid to late 90's.

Welcome.  I used to ski over 100 days a season.  I live in Mammoth Lakes, AKA Mammoth Mountain.  Any good wheeling near your area?  How about those pictures?
