http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?N=400619+315951&autoview=sku    could any of these be used with 63 inch chevies?  they all state the use of 2.5 inch wide springs (width at the spring eyes?), the first set listed dont look like they would work, and i cant tell the difference between any of the other

You don't have to use the revolver.  You can use just a regulare shackle.  That's what my father uses.

the reason i like the design of the teraflex setup is because it twists.  i have broken many leafs due to twisting. and thats with orbital bushings.  so back to my original question, which ones would work with chevs?

I just took my revolvers off.  I needed a longer shackle, and I always heard of the unloading thing... I'll confess that I took them off in fear of that, but I never had it happen.  Thats on some of the most off camber trails in moab.  They will lift up the rear end when you go up hills whenever your on it, but that is because of the natural twisting force of the axle.  With a strong leaf like a chevy I think they should be ok, but I watched my buddy in an xj bend his leaf pack because of the unloading going up hills.  If you end up getting some I have my old pair sitting around.  hope this helps.

right now im looking for a pair of Teraflex revolvers that will work with chevs.  if i cant find a pair for cheap enough in time, im just going to run the usual setup.

chevy springs suck.. they dont flex aswell as all the hype makes them out to be..  run a set of f-150s  and if done correctly revolvers dont unload or anything..  basicly all you need is  the stock ford shackle and  make your own shackles.. mine were 8" eye to eye  to a ford shackle with stops welded on.

You must be misinformed.  If Chevy springs suck, then why do so many people use them?
