Help Conncetiong Push Button Start

Hello, on my 1980 Toyota 4x4 i have a push button start, basicly i turn the key to start and then push the button and it starts,,, well i disconected that cleaning up my wiring and now i put it back to gether, i got one wire that goes from the starter to the push button switch, what do i do with the other wire.... do i conncet the other wire from the battery to the push button switch!!!!



So i have the starter hooked up like this.
I got the BIG GUAGE WIRE connected to the battery to the starter.
Then there is that other wire that is connected to the starter, i have that connected to the pushbutton , now do i get another wire and connected it to the battery to the pushbutton!!!

Any wire that is switched(only hot when the key is on) will be fine.

so the way i explained it will be fine,, it wont blow any thing!! i wont get a shock....

the human body does not conduct 12 volts very well.  Just wire it up.  You'll be fine.

You wouldn't think that unless you had been on the ocean for a while and had salt spray on you and the battery.

Just hook it up like that and it will be fine so long as you don't let the smoke out.
