wipers
« on: Jan 05, 2004, 10:01:38 PM »
Heres one for ya that need good wipers.  When I bought my truck the passenger wiper didnt work at all, so I took it off and the splines were gone.  so almost by chance (dumb luck) I found the ultimate solution. at the time I had a mid 80's subaru at the house.  I took the wiper arms off of it tried them on my truck and they fit! they also were a little shorter too so I got to use longer blades.  Since then I have taken off the driver side arm and put it on the pass. I got another from work from another subaru put a little bit of a bend in it and voiala! (sp) now my wipers sit closer to the bottom and clear more of the windshield.  with these arms you have to use blades from a late 80's ford I think.  cant remember the exact application but the napa pn. is 60-018-2.
