Help finding State regulations for 4x4s
« on: Jul 16, 2006, 08:22:11 PM »
This is a cross post from another forum but very helpful information. With summertime here I have noticed alot of people asking about state regs on going doorless. and then of course the mudflap questions. scroll near the bottom and you should see something for your state http://classicbroncos.com/forums/printthread.php?t=63347  :beerchug: the link for my state (misery) had everything I needed to know

I don't need no stinking  book, I know what is and is not legal. I am not legal my tires hang outside my fenders, I do have my mud flaps on but sadly they do not cover the entire area of the tire, my front bumper is to short, but I do now have turn signals and I can't go the speed limit on even the slightest grade. My doors come off but that is legal since I have enough lip on the edge to keep the contents inside from rolling out something a Toyota does not have and would not be legal to remove the doors.
