Firestone Tire Warranty

I have heard a rumor that as of last month, Firestone released a company wide memo saying that any shop that is an official dealer of Firestone tires, must honor any other shops warranties for free rotation and rebalance if applicable

anyone got any info on that?

They are probably refering to Firestone dealers only. :dunno:

Its probably just within firestone dealers.  Its been that way for a while though, so I dunno.  My dad has it on 2 of his 3 vehicles, so that he can get them taken care of anywhere on the road.

its the same thing we do at sears and i think discount tire does it to.
