I have been known to have some stiff suspension and I believe this is a good setup....

It is certainly better than my red one was....

Well I finally got the pic's from my buddy when we went to Pretty Shitty (praire city). I have more but the dial up was pissin me off. It took me 30 min just to upload the one pic I am going to post and it did not even load all the way. So I will post a couple more soon.

nice flex shot!! definitely keep it red that thing looks really good!

Fearofrunner

what lift you got on that?  looks like it flexes good now.  Nice rig

Well it has been a while since I have posted in this thread so I will give a little update. I guess the 3" forward on the front axle is not enough. I have yet to trim the fender's and tub the cab but it hit's pretty darn bad. I am gonna swap some rear main leaf's on to the pack I have and hope to gain a little more forward spring pin location. I have fixed quite a few oil leak's but I still have one left, the front main is leaking and I am dreading fixing it. I got a Warn XD9000I winch also, so I am in the middle of building a new bumper for it. I actually have it done I just need to weld it on to the truck. I still need to finish painting the truck, the bed is now primer and the cab is half red and half white. I have been up to the Rubicon about 5 times now and for the most part it is working good. However I am continplating selling the X-Terrains and switching up to a 40" Irok but I am not sure yet. I still have to drive it on the road is the only reason I am questioning it at this point. Hopefully soon I will post some more pic's.

It was good. Myself with my wife and two buddies went up for the day today. One other Toyota and a Grizzly quad. We had a good trip, it snowed on us all day except for the 30 minutes when we stopped for lunch. There was no snow at Loon except what had fallen this morning when we got there. We went in a way's not quite to the bottom of Walker though. It has been a while since I have been in through Loon so I was kinda lost on rembering where we were. I know we crossed 2 water crossing's and went a little further after the second one. At the furthest point where we had lunch and turned around there was less than an inch of snow, it was what was falling today and that is it. There was one spot that was pretty well shaded for a little bit and it may have had eight inches or so. Here is the only pic I have uploaded so far. Enjoy.

Here is another pic. this one gives you a better idea of how much snow there was. The whole trail was dusted like you see in this pic. The one spot that there was a decent amount of snow is where the picture above was taken.

Lookin good man   I've been curious if anybody has gone through lately.
RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

looks good, I see you havent finished the paint!

Yea I think we could have easily went all the way into the box with out much snow. We were probally half way there as it was and there was hardly any snow at all. The only reason we turned back where we were is the other two had stuff they had to do last night.

As far as the paint job goes, no I just added more of the wrong color to it. ;) I will get it done soon though. I was actually talking to a guy I work with about painting it the right way in his shop. Hopfully he will come back with a good price.

We went up to the Rubicon on Friday and stayed till Sunday. We had a blast, we camped at WW and wheeled in. I kicked soup bowls ass and took a super sick high line on post pile. Here is a pick of soup bowl. I have not uploaded the pic from post pile yet so yall will have to wait.

Thank's fatt matt. This was really the first trip I was able to wheel primarily rock and not snow. That being said I was able to get it pretty good. I have a list of stuff I have to do now, thing's I found over the weekend. I need to order my hydro assist and get it done, I need to tub the cab and cut the fender's (big time rubbage) I need to reseal my shifter plate on the T-case, cut the bottom of the bed and build the new rear bumper, fix the front oil seal, and make my half doors.
I am still working on the pic's hopefully soon.

Kevin

Post Pile pic's finally. Here is a pic to kind of show you the angle you are at as you come in to it. Also shows how big some of the surrounding rock's are.

I am at the very top of that big ol rock. I think the pic would be 100 times better if my buddy was not blocking the back half of the truck. It is still a good shot though. Another one of my buddies has a better pic that is more straight on, but I don't have it yet, enjoy.

Well I hate wheelin with full door's, they are to big and block to much of my veiw. So I got started hackin them up. One door is almost done, I need to get a few small thing's to make the cup holder's and weld in the final cap piece and it will be done. I am going to fill the doors with that spray foam filler, will it be to dense, and make the door speaker sound like :pokinit:? Do I need to leave a hollow spot behind the speaker to act as a "box"?
Here is a picture of the progress I have made. I have another picture but the dial up was pissin me off so 1 is all you get for now.  :o

lookin good, I need to do that to mine. what kind of metal did you use?

I used 16 gauge HREW sheet metal. I have a buddy who used to work at a sheet metal shop and got it for me for free. He got me a piece that was 4'X6' then sheered it for me into a couple of smaller pieces. I had to then trim it down and weld it in. Here is the second pic.

R/C full size  :rofl2: It does look that way!

That is kind of how it was anyhow, he told me what I needed to do and I did it so I guess it was radio control. 8)
