yep, im a virgin to crawling.  i used to wheel my 77 blazer, hills, mud etc but never rocks. they look like alot more fun.. i know i have alot to learn and hope to gain some knowledge from you guys.
i just picked up a 82 yota that im sure you have seen on here, after all i did buy it from a member with the following mods:

dual transfercases with marlin crawler
Spring over Wagoneer44044 springs up front and 63 chevys in the rear with 2inch block
Tera flex revolving shackles in the rear
Hysteer cross over steering with IFS box
Full exo cage around the cab
Bucket seats
4.10's welded in the rear and open front
38.5X14.5 super swamper tsl/sx on black rock crawler rims
4 pro comp 15watt lights on the front prerunner bar
