ok got the info i needed from hendrix, now i have decided to dich my 86 ex cab frame and get an 83 short box frame i will keep the steering box front hubs and brakes and rear axle from the 86. i want a frame that will be the same as the #011 frame, i was wondering if it would be too front heavy if i put a vortec 4.3 in it, i plan on a 20 gal. fuel cell, tool box and a 37" spare over or behind the axle as far back as possible while still in side the frame rails
