I'm passing on a post from PBB. I'm not involved. The more people that are aware the more chance they have of recovering the vehicles. Here's the post http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=213433

that really sucks. I've got a couple kill-devices on my car and I hope everyone else does something to make it difficult to steal their rides. I've got one switch that disables both my EFI main system (which takes care of the injectors) and the fuel pump relay, another switch for the coil, I use 'the club' if I park for a long time and I've also got an alarm system. My car ain't going no where. :_order:

That sucks man it's probably in mexico by now.   I don't worry about my Tacoma hell that's why I pay insurance, so he will probalby be fine on the tow rig, however the buggy he will never get back his time and money from cause insurance companies suck that way.  It's a sad day when even our off road vehicles aren't safe anymore.   I hope that a group of wheelers see it out on a trail somewhere and show them some off-roader hospitality with extreme predjudice.   :flamer:

My insurance is better than that.  I live in a real closely watched area everyone within about 75 miles knows my rig so Im sure that no thief could make it far.  I remember I let a friend of mine drive my truck to a town about 40 miles away he got pulled over and asked why he was driving my truck!!  Funny thing is I dont know any of the cops in that town!  My other truck is such a pile of crap noone would dare take it for fear of embarrasment!
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??
