i like the weber 32/36 for its tuneability. it WILL make your truck perform better than any stock carb as long as it's jetted right.however it can be a little frustrating tuning it by feel if you don't have a lot of experience, i'd recommend a wide band O2 sensor with A/F gauge(i need one). not quite as quick to adjust as something like a 4 barrel, you gotta pull the top off the carb. not too bad, just a little time consuming.also i'd recommend a low pressure electric fuel pump, webers don't run too well(especially offroad) with a 7psi mechanical pump like most 22Rs have. mine puts out about 4lbs of pressure at the most.
How do these do on extreme angles
I don't know what manufacture of carb is factory on Toyota, but my piss-on came with a hitachi carb, that was a pile!
dont know...Ive got three laying around.....Ive decided that my injection is staying.....but while on this carb topic....WHAT IS A WIDEBAND O2 sensor....and will it work with like an autozone A/F meter? or is this something totally seperate? Ive got my AZ A/F meter hooked up to a brand new o2 sensor on an older manifold where its on the manifold seperate from my puters junk, anyways, its always BOUNCING bad on the lean side while driving and while downshifting as a brake it leans out of the meter.....and help?
