Do the 30 spline longfeilds fit in the toyota mini truck axels or is it only the 27 spline longs that do.

Oh no. We've got another "I'm gonna post for every question I got" fella! :hammer:

I didn't say anything before, I figured I'd give you the BOTD, but I can see this is going to continue:

Use the search button.

Instead of clogging up space, at least stick within a thread you've already started. Ask questions there instead of posting a new thread for every question you stumble across.

And before you ask more questions without searching, I give you: (note the yellow writing.)

:talkingn: thanks man I gave up the fight long ago. if people actually looked around a little before starting  yet another thread to ask the same question for the tenth time they may learn something. There is alot of good stuff here but you have to look for it, burried under mountains of  :bull crap:

KYOTA

but, to be nice and answer your question doc, yes the 30's fit, some housings may require slight clearancing inside the ball around the trunion race area and some go right in like mine did.

Well, the way I figure it, might as well have a laugh about it instead of getting mad or frusterated... besides, look at the brightside, I'm at post #345 now! Only 2922 more posts to catch up to you! :nana:

oh so you do have to do some moding to your axel housings to fit these 30 spilne axels

FatAzzRunner

You "MAYYY" have to do some modding.  I didnt even test mine, I just threw em in there.

The ad from Longfield says, "THESE BAD BOYS WILL FIT RIGHT INTO YOUR STOCK HOUSING."

I will be finding out in the next few weeks when I do my knuckle rebuild if I need to do some clearancing or not.  Until then, I'm not worried about it.

85 Runner, 5" All-Pro Extreme Lift, Complete Marlin T-Case with new TS 4.7 gears, Super Birfields(Longfields), 5:29's, Detroited front, Spooled rear, 36" TSL's, Bikini top.

Yes, Livin in Kansas sucks azz!!

Maybe before we go off on people for asking a simple question for the tenth time, we get the search engine fixed so it actualy works.

Mike changed the forum and the new search engine isn't worth a crap.

Oh chillax... No one was "going off" on any one. We was just poking some good old clean fun.

I was only referencing to the fact that he didn't search, and he started three threads all inter-related to each other. He could have simply kept one going to answer all his questons. The search would work fine if there wasn't three posts for every question that has been covered 10 times. Like Kyota said, you just got to sift through all the wasted space and useless info to find what you're looking for.

the search works really good if you use the advanced search.  the regular search doesn't work great.  BTW, mine slid right in.

The search works for you?!  I get junk most of the time.

I had to do a little grinding to get mine to fit.

yotaboy79

i had to do alot of grinding to fit mine but my housing is bent pritty bad you cant tell by looking at it but when you try changing the birfs you quickly realize that its bent i had to use a slide hammer to get the old ones out!!
