it is a work in progress, but I'm having fun doing it. I plan on making a new dash out of fiberglass, redesigning it. already stripped all carpet and head liner out, plan on sound / water proofing it. I need to get rid of the rust so... cutting the rear like this guy did, it looks really good.keeps stock look but gives the convenience of bigger fenders and gets rid of the rust. http://lokmeup.iwolfe.com/Toyota/FenderTrim.htm now I just need to learn how to weld :flamer: :help: :gap:
I want fiberglass front fenders but a larger cutout , problem is I don't really want the desert look. I upgraded the gauges to sr5 and altimeter also the head and cam. I need to fix the tranny or get a new / used one  mine makes all sorts of noises and pops out of 1st and third. that is an expensive project though

The fun part, that is why we do this...    Looks like a good start to a nice project, and yup a lot of work like Rs said.  Take lots of pics, and start a build up thread. :yesnod:   I am curious to see how the fiberglass dash turns out.   I'm with you I don't like the dessert look either but.
