Bad news I may get my jeep back here soon but I wont be able to work on it till the trial is over!  Supposidly its evidense and working on it would be considered tampering with evidense....   Pretty gay.  Trial will most likely be in a year, and then they could appeal when they loose and it could be upto four years before I get to work on my junk again!

I am debaiting getting a backup rig for now to tide me over,  there is a 1964 scout truck with a 14b rear 44 up front 36in tires...   SB400...  guy is asking 3500, the wife says its ok....   Then I would wheel it till I get mine back then ditch it and finnish mine up.

might as well

i can almost guarantee there will be an appeal, there always is. so in four years of not building you would prob be over it by then. so might as well get the scout

I went an looked at the scout and it whoever had built it had cut quit a few corners, from what I saw and Im sure there were more.  I dont want a money pit, I want something I can have a good time in.  He wouldnt even let me drive it down the hwy a little to see if it handled any speed, the fastest he had it going was 45.  So there were alot of red flags...  So im going to pass on that one.  I may keep an eye out for something else. But I think that expert witness are going to evaluate their claims this next week and that will have a big bearing on weather or not it goes to court or if they try and settle...  So I wont get anything till we see what he has to say.

Yea, they have refused to let a professional come in and inspect their claims so now I have to wait for the paperwork to goto the judge to have a court order for inspection of claims.  Then after my professional sees it we have to apply for bond release since they have shown no interest in accepting that.  Then I guess I wait for court.  I got a call from the past manager yesterday he said the owner has been trying to sweet talk him onto his side, and he told him that his attourney wasnt allowing him to talk about it...   He is stoked to testify agains the shop so that was good news!!

Chipped up the paint on the new headers dented up the new radiator, including dirt dog hair and oil in the heater core.  Destroyed my suspension seats, scratched the hell out of my new fender flares............  pretty big waste!  oh and lit my new valve covers on fire. not to mention warped my new body, welded poo pipe gussets into my cage.    and jacked some other crap! Never returned my gps docking station.
