Due to the fact that 1 spring perch is higher than the other some manufactures make one spring arch more than the other. If this is the type you have, and you put them on wrong it leans even more than it would have if both springs were equal. Others like Marlin have equal arch springs and supply you with a spacer to match the other side.

Also, sometimes when you lift a truck the torque rod will pull the left side down some if you put it back on, but I see that the torque rod has been removed. On that issue without the torque rod you can have an issue with it pulling real hard right in a panic braking situation. When I have removed the torque rod I replace it with a steering stablizer.  Now back on topic you could also have a bent or tweaked frame.

Is it possible the perch has an arch in it and the tight u-bolts are pulling down the leaf pack?

Anything is possible, and it would pull it down if the perch was bent down.

Did we all miss the part up top where he doesn't have a spacer for the drivers side...get a spacer...call Marlin for one...
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

:yesnod: I've added a couple on mine due to settling. I've got a new set of rears in the garage, just haven't had the time to put them on. Then I'm gonna move some of the rear pack to the front.

just  find anything with multiple leafs that are 2 1/2 inches wide,  and find a leaf  longer than the bottom leaf you have and shorter than  the middle leaf and stick it in there

I've lost count on the rears, I think I have like seven leafs. :yikes: The fronts are holding at four, but I'll probably swap in 2 or 3 once I put the new set in the  rear.

no  the stock 84  fronts are flat  and have no flex
get some F150  or or  early  S10  2wd springs, what you want is 2wd springs that are fairly thin but have lots of arch,  if you have some old rear springs  you can use maybe the lower leaf from them

yes,  you will remove the spring  pack from the truck , then  remove the center tiebolt
separate the leafs and add one or 2 in depending on length

50  for the pair??  not bad  but that top leaf is bent

get them and use them for add on leafs for the other ones

you can take the nut off  or  cut it off and get new ones from napa,  just make sure you get "leaf spring tie bolts"
