Well I think Im going to show up at the moonrocks instead of the 'con. Kyota said, sunny and dry sounds like better beer drinking weather than snowy and cold. :thumbs: My duals are in and the d-line will be done tomorrow, beadlocks at the door mid next week. Woohoo!

I also plan on leaving the North Bay,Sonoma. Late thursday night and hope to be in Reno by dawn.Get some breakfast,ice,more food etc. etc. And make my way to Moonrocks.Maybe we can caravan up there..

Hey sloyota PM me your tele number, Im prolly going to head up around that time as well. But I think if you meet me here in Vaca around 4:30-5:00am we should be there plenty early to get some food, beer, etc and hit the moon. Let me know if that sounds good for you. You got a CB?

well seeing as ive decided to be sober and not drink for a while after some bad incidents this weekend I don't think my plans that I had for memorial weekend would be much fun so I might head up to moon rocks for some wheelin

a buddy and i went over to naches today to scout out the SNOW situation, and guess what we found? SNOW!!! these pics are on milk pond rd about 3/4 of the way up to the trailhead to moon/funny rocks. about 3 feet in spots, and melting. it was about 85-90 degrees at about noon.

so what does everybody think? will there be snow at the rocks on memorial day, i think there will.

I'm out, cant afford the $400 in gas to tow down right now. So cy'all in Sept. Have fun, take lots of pics, say hi to B7 for me  :greengrin: and be cool out there. This is the type of weekend the trail nazi's are watching so you all know the drill, garbage, oil spills etc.
Moonrocks has already been on the chopping block once already (from the mess left after comps) Its an awesome place to wheel  take care of it. I have heard that some of the Reno 4x4 guys may provide one or some sh*tters for the weekend which is a major bonus. Props to Rockape for that donation.  :beer:

Oh and if you get bored and want to do a day run, theres a group going thru Bronco Canyon and Dead Horse this weekend too which is right across town on the way out of Reno on 80 South. Talk to Bender
