I wired my truck/trailer with a round 6 pin design.. my buddy has a 03' Ford Turbo diesle w/ the tow package and it comes with a Flat 7 pin. Wondering if i'd be able to put an adapter on there so he can tow my trailer?

IF "thats a big if"  there is such a thing I wonder how the wires would match up?   I could have configured my wire combo alot different then Fords combo.

TIA,

Shamb

If you wired to either the standard or the "rodeo" 6 way than, yeah.  napa # either 755-1899 or 755-1526, IIRC.  One is wired center pin electric brakes(thats standard) and the other is wired center pin auxiliary(that be the rodeo).

I wired my trailer brakes on the larger of the 6 pin holes.

Thank you!  I can just rewire my setup to accomidate, no biggie.

I was wrong. the 1599 is CP Aux, the other is a 755-1845, that is the "rodeo".

edit: just reread your post.  glad to help.
