Topic: R151 questions

So my current 4 runner tranny is going to need to be rebuilt but while im fixing that, I figured why not switch over to the r151 since thats what I am planning anyways. Well, I can't find the info I am going to need about the r-series transmission.

So basically I'm looking for information in converting the 2wd r151 to the 4wd r151f. Is there anyone that makes a kit or should I continue my search for a R151f(4wd version)? Or does anyone here have an R151f that they are selling? I'm under the impression that most if not all 2wd transmissions have a shorter? output shaft? not sure there.

Did anyone find the answer to this question? I have a line on a 2wd r151 - can it be converted to an r151f?

I believe there is no such thing as a 2wd r151.  There's an r150 and an r154.
