I was just wondering if there was a post on here about how to safely bypass the lspv or safely make it work. thanks

leave it and cut the rod that runs to the axle about 3-4"  out from the lspv and leave it alone

i dont have the rod but it totally disabled my rear brakes

Yes that has been asked a lot. there should be a bunch of threads on the subject.

There is several ways of dealing with it.

Some just remove it all together and others simply tie it up to the frame causing it to be full open.

Otherwise extend the rod the same as you lifted the truck.

You may want to make the rod adjustable to fine tune it if needed.

Ooooh!  This gives me an idea!  You could cut it several inches from the valves as suggested, then weld on a ring at the end.  Drill a hole through that then mount a rod vertically that slides through the ring and has several holes drilled through it so you can move your hitch pin to whatever angle you wanna run.  Kinda booty fab, but it could work.
