Topic: Who here uses a Motorola Razor V3? Quick question...

I have had my Razor for a while now and I noticed it has the same plug as my digital camera. I have a wire that goes from the camera to the computer. I hooked it into my computer and my computer recognized the device in the USB port as a Razor V3, and then wanted me to download the software for the phone.

I hit cancel and disconnected my phone from the computer. I want to transfere pictures from the camera to my computer to post pictures on this board and others. I know this can be done through bluetooth and the "copy" feature, but can this be done without bluetooth? Or is that how they "get you" to buy a blue tooth device for your computer like one of my freinds on the other side of the mountains has?

I would assume that if the computer recognizes the phone, and asks to download the software, then it is easyy to do, without blue tooth.  My mom's phone came with a cable to hook to the usb port, and it downloads pics that way, with no blue tooth

But there is no software for my phone. I still have the box and all the things from the box, but no CD or anything.

When you plug it in, close the download dialog box, now open "My Computer" it should list your Razor as an external device, right click on the device and then left click explore. Browse through and see if you can find your pictures, once you find them you can either drag and drop or highlight a batch and transfer them to your pictures file. Not sure if this will work since I don't have one but if it is just like a digital camera it should work. Just don't change any settings you may find.

What "my computer" tells me.

Files stored on this computer: shared docs, my docs
Hard disk drives: Local Disk (C:)
Devices with removable storage: DVD/CD-RW Drive (D:)

No razor.

Huh, maybe that's what is trying to download the software so your computer will see it.

I'll go ahead and try it on my parent's computer tomorrow, see if it is just my computer.

It's not just your computer, mine won't load up pics from razor either

What I understand from talking to other people is you can buy the software to put pictures on your computer from your razor.
I am going to run by the Cingular store tomorrow and talk to them about it.

You could just email each pic individually... that's what I do
