« on: Apr 05, 2006, 01:57:49 AM »
i picked up a motor and it needs resealed so i got a complete gasket kit. my question is when i put the pan, front cover, water pump etc on should i use some rtv or just put the gasket in and go? i got a can of "the right stuff" rtv. i know i dont need it for the intake, exhaust, valve cover, head but what about the rest?

58-65 ft-lbs. in a spiral pattern from the center out like:

10  6  2  3  7

9   5  1   4  8

each number is a head bolt, get it?
