Making a trail to the top of the hill with your 4x4, and then riding to the bottom is weak.

Yeah, but it'd take us like 4-5 hrs. to get to the top of the mountain then only 45min to an hour to fly down.

You must be weak to drive to the top of the hill instead of riding, duh!

Yeah, but it'd take us like 4-5 hrs. to get to the top of the mountain then only 45min to an hour to fly down.

Couple of times we'd make a 16 mile round trip on our bmxers, just to go jump in the cold ass river.  3 miles up a steep ass hill and 5 miles down the other side(that was soooooo fun!), then turn around and come back.  My friend kept making the mistake of sitting down.  He looked like he was in a lot better shape than I was, and thought so, but not after that ride!  I was all leg back then!

Anyway, I keep thinking that shell is identical to the one on my 3rd gen.  The shape is just too far off a taco, regular cab or not.  The color helps to hide the difference though.
RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

Got any pictures? Maybe we can compare :) The thing that gets me is its like half an inch too skinny on either side of the bed rails. Oh well, it fits, its on, it was cheap, i'll deal with it :D

Sweet, I know so many guys with Toyotas that ride, its probably just a coincidence that riders choose only the best trucks :D

After blowing up my TRD rear end, I opted for a non-TRD Tacoma rear end swap. Reason being, well, just look at the picture :) There are burly supports that go side to side on the 8.4 third member

Since the pinion shed a few teeth on the TRD rear end, I didn't want to have any chance of it happening again so I got the gears cryo treated by Edwards Heat Treating in San Leandro, CA. They did a great job!

Here are some misc. pictures of what is to come in the future of my truck :) I basically got a Diamond housing that I can bolt my stock brakes/axles and third member into. Remember, a Diamond is forever

I know, it would be kinda cool to just clear coat it but naw, flat black is fine :)

Thats true, chrome wont get you home. Looks good though

Pictures of the sliders installed :) I capped off the fronts of them but wanted to do something different for the rear of them. So I found these from AA Manufacturing, Will probably just weld them on and grind smooth :)

And pictures of the sliders, just have to make some hoops to match the rear ones :) Sweeeet

Sold the shell, decided to bob the bed this past weekend. Turned out OK I guess  I took 13" out of the bed so I can throw a double cab shell on if I wanted  The project wasn't difficult at all. In 3 hours I had the back piece fully tacked up and started tacking the whole thing together. The key is how straight you cut the bed. I used a 4" cut off wheel which worked out great. If I had used anything else, I would still be out there trying to get it to fit right :D

Looks awesome :yesnod: Can you get a diamond axle to accept a Ford 9" third member? That would be a hot setup  :flamer:
