how to change tranny fluid

getting ready to install my w56 tranny was wondering if someone could tell me where is the drain plug on the tranny and tcase and where do i fill it back up at also what kinda fluid you guys using just want some fresh fluid in there before i install it thanks

There should be a drain plug on the bottom of the case and a fill plug on the drivers side of the case.  i ussually just take the fill plug out, take the shifter out anf fill it through the shifter untill it comes out the fill hole.  A lot easier then crawling under the truck and trying to fill it there.  I just use regular 85-90Wt.  but i don't know what is recommended.
