You have to remember Pat, these funds usually go twords saving the sport we love so its not a bad idea to chip in a few bucks... yea we can all do it for free but its not helping out the cause.

All our Marlin Crawler Forum friends...

Rubithon is a TLCA Sanctioned event which means all attendees must be TLCA members.

However, in support of Marlin Crawler, if you register to attend Rubithon and pay the 70.00 fee to go on Marlins sweep run, and you realize sweep means helping busting or stranded trucks, we will waive your membership requirement.  This offer is only for Marlin Crawler customers and supporters, and based upon working the sweep run with Marlin himself.

The two requirements:  You must register and you must get Marlin's approval to be on his run.  Departure and arrival time for Rubithon Sweep run is Marlin time... nuff said.

This event is a lot of fun, and we are celebrating TLCA's 30th anniversary, so come on out and join us.

Oh, yes there is minimum vehicle requirements just to help keep the groups moving.  These should not be an issue if you have at least 33" tires and some gears.

See you there!

here is a quote from CruzrDave in the other Rubithon thread

You still need to register with TLCA for Rubithon but give us a call or post up here and we will put you on our list. This way we know how many are showing up at Loon Lake so no one gets left behind or lost. We generally have about 20-25 rigs. Its a one day sweep run from Loon to Rubicon Springs.

As for gaining Marlin approval... don't know, call Big Mike at the shop.

As far as your truck making it when you add lockers and lift and gears... well heck ya, it will go anywhere after those types of mods.

If you want a meal and a shirt, you need to register before the end of May.

Thanks for the support!

Hey locktup! Are you going to run the sweeper run with us on Friday? That would be cool, I really want to see that mad red beast on the trail!! Last year was wet but it was alot of fun!

I am really looking forward to this years Rubicon. I am going to be gone for the whole month of July, so this is basically my only time to wheel between now and August.
