head light question

my driver side head light is much dimmer then the other. i changed the head light out already... anyideas on how to fix it? 81 toy

Check the wiring, you have a voltage drop which means too much resistance somewhere.  Maybe something as simple as a wire getting worn.  Check the grounds in the area, clean off the terminals, etc, etc.
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

sorry for highjack but since we are talking about headlights....

my driver low beam doesn't work, high beams both work...whats up with that? this just happened.

Replace the bulb... Your bulb has 2 fillaments; one for high beams and the other for low beams. Since people run low beams more often than high, it tends to burn out first.

Bad ground would be the most common reason for the light being dim.  The positive side is protected more from the elements than the negative side.
