Hyena

It doesn't look all that bad now.  But it is still like 14 feet tall.

Ramrod

please tell me he is going to redo that entire suspension because that stuff was too tall and stiff before and now its even way worse its gonna roll all over the place

wa4x4

 :psss:
It's a lot easier to paint something when there's not much left of it. LOL.
2007 Satin white pearl STi- mostly stock
2006 WRX TR 320whp 343wtq, taken in a road rage wreck
1998 4runner, needs to become wheeler status

Shamb

I doubt he'll drop it, there's no way unless he relocates the axle forward, it rubs the way it is now!

He dropped alot of $$$ into those springs so he's just gonna use them until money allows for coils.

What springs is he using? I got my rear f150's at the junk yard for next to nothing and they flex like crazy.

Yes I'm to busy working my ass off, and also I'm a bad speller, see u sunday shorty.

Shamb

Actually got some work done. Swapped the front springs around, relocated the front axle about 2-4" forward. Pulled the blocks and shackles off the back and made some loooooooooong 9 5/8" shackles for the rear. Rides good.. Havn't got to see how its affected the articulation yet though.

Slow progress on the exo but he does have DUALS now!

2.28 front crawl box, 4.7 rear t-case

lets see if I've got the math right here... this is a rough estimate because i'm not exactly sure what the ratio is in first gear for the tranny he has.

4.31 x 5.38 x 2.28 x 4.7 = 248:1

It is a R series tranny.. on a 3.Slow 92 4Runner.

thanks jonh for posting the pictures, ill have more pictures of the finish product by the end of the week.

Shamb

I'll post up the pictures I got tonight or tomorrow morning. We took the duals out on their first run out in the field today. That thing is LOOOOOOOOOOW geared! I need 4.7 in the rear case now.

Next on the "to-do" list is hardened axles for the front, marlin dual t-case x-member and a front driveline.

Oh.. and we need to relocate those shocks in the front, maybe we can do that tomorrow if it isn't 120 degree's outside!!!!!!!

looks good guys I like how low that cage is.  Are you going to skin the roof on it?

Hyena

Hey, Pat might be selling his marlin crossmember soon.  I guess he bent it just a little bit but you can't tell from looking at it.  He wants to do a flatbelly now.  talk to him and see if he is selling it.  And that is if it fits.

Ramrod

yeah i'll sell you mine but its for a 4cly not a v6 so it might not work.  It is bent but all it really does is give you extra clearance

Shamb

Rudy's exo.
