The main reason I wanted it was for the engine. And I plained on SAS'n mine with it....But I've also thought of making a play toy out of it. I dunno... what I'm gonna do....I' so confused :rivers:

Well I went to Jeff's 2 day put a batt. in it and poured a dab o' gas in it and it fired right up :woohoo:
didn't smoke a bit and the cam and header sound sweet :gap: It needs a carb kit in it but it does run :biggthumpup:
I'm gonna try to get it home 2 morrow :greengrin:

That is a good start.

Put the bed back on or get a regular bed for it.

Can't see you cutting it up for parts for your other truck that you won't want to play  with.

Fix this one a beat the crap out of it.

yeah GOOOOOOD LUCK is right . the one time I tried took me 2 rebuild kits and then I took it to a pro and paid him.

I'm gonna put a flat bed on it but not the one that WAS on it. I still gotta get it to stay running, install some tail lights,and put 4.88 in the front.

Negative capn!  86 was the first year for ifs, 79-85 are solid axle in the us.
