Topic: Vibrating T-Case

Well i just finished swaping in my new toyota front end with longfields .  The truck is sweet now but something has started to vibrate...    We used a long slip front drive shaft... now whenever the hubs are locked the truck has a slight vibration and when 4 wheel drive is in (transfercase in 4WD) the vibration is extreme especially after 30 mph,  at first the shop i took it too thought it was the bearings but now they think it is the driveshaft vibrating how can i tell for sure if it is bearings or the drive shaft?  Thanks for the help

Make sure your u-joints are in phase, the clips should be all facing the same way.
Did you change your suspension at all?

Does your new front drive shaft have a CV or did the drive shaft shop only put regular u joints at each end. I know it's worked for some people, but everyone i've known who got a dshaft without the
CV has had the same vib probs.

pull the front shaft and drive it with the hubs locked and in 4wd. that will let you know if it is the front shaft or not.
