well I'm new to this board   but not so new to wheelin'.  I just recently converted from j**ps over to the superior mark of the Toyota   and I'm lovin' it, although my wheeler isn't completely toyota.  I've got an 85 'runner bobbed 15" with an internal cage, an injected 5.0L under the hood :gap: , and a whole lot of other bells and whistles that make it go just about anywhere.  I also just bought for a daily driver an 84 2.4D :yesnod:  (deisel) toyota pickup in GREAT shape.  I've wrenched on many 20 or 22R's before but never a toyota deisel.  anybody know much about these??   well, hello to all!

thanks for the welcomes!!  I don't think I'll be building the deisel into a dedicated wheeler.  prolly just some rear springs in front and blocks in back.  just enough to fit some 31's nicely....and I have a 4.7 to 1 t case laying around I may throw on there.  I just wanna be able to do mild stuff to get to a campin' spot or something.  I seems real nice though so far!  Not the peppiest truck out there but it does well.  the good part is that I got it just like it is for 200 bucks!!

wow $200 good price   you can go hog wild on that thing  and without braking the bank :yesnod:
