This past weekend I hooked up with Rob, RJ and Joe from No White Fenders.
We were there for the All Pro Customer Appreciation Jamboree.
John was our trail leader on Clawhammer, and Marlin was tailgunner. He towed his buggy out for the day at John's invitation.

Wow,
I haven't done that yet. I heard it is pretty gnarly. Yes?
I think Angel and some other fearless veterans of the hammers, wanted to run that at night.

That does look like Backdoor. Rockhound, after you guys all left, John, another guy (Eric?) with a buggy and 3 of us in trucks went up there to run Backdoor and Resolution. That first water fall on Backdoor is pretty nasty. Well a guy 2 trucks in front of me broke on Resolution, so John and Eric went the rest of the way up and we pulled the other truck back out. But those trails are bad :moon: Can't wait to get up there and hit them again.  :gap:

WTF how'd you do that on bobsled, I always figured if it happened there you would roll the opposite way if your tires slipped off the left wall........ I miss that place, sure hope they are not getting very many horse riders out there. You've been going out with the wrong people, all you do is put your left tires on the wall and keep as level as possible and then just slide on down (that's why they call it bobsled), the only time there is a real issue is with swb's like a Willys or Sammi trying to stand on its nose. We had to leave a Heep wedged in at the bottom of the bobsled for a week once, he bent his steering rod and it was at 5:00 pm on Sunday, and we all know what happens ther on Sun. We also had a friend take a header off the top and had to evac him out so we just told the attendant that we'd be back when they opened next weekend and get it out. We asked if they'd keep an :eye: on it and they said yea-right we don't have anything that could even get there.

Wow.
I knew it was treacherous.

Quoteall you do is put your left tires on the wall and keep as level as possible and then just slide on down

That was the plan.

I was never able to conquer Bob from the bottom, when I stumbled across the top approach, one day out exploring at the end of a Sunday afternoon, I made a decision to attempt it. From the top down.
I was to the left, tried to bring the passenger front up over the crack, but it didn't come up when I needed it to. Before i knew it, I was teetered into the wedge, applied a little throttle hoping to pop it up, and heard the BAM!
Birfield. Tried backing, tried scooching foward, stuck.
Much to my relief there were other's wheeling. much to my chagrin, they all drove Heeps. I got flamed on jeepaholics. The guy that winched me , blew his Dana 30 drivers side setting up his approach.
Quite an experience.
Never had another opportunity.
Just waiting for the tribes to all get along and open that bad boy up again.

Never have known anyone to come from Bagby's  that didn't winch up. Was there once when some fullsize Formula's tried and even with all the extra HP they ended up winching. It was very odd with your tire looking like you tried to climb the wall, guess it looked that way after your valiant try at retreating.

1. pwned link

A corruption of the word "Owned." This originated in an online game called Warcraft, where a map designer misspelled "owned." When the computer beat a player, it was supposed to say, so-and-so "has been owned."

Instead, it said, so-and-so "has been pwned."

It basically means "to own" or to be dominated by an opponent or situation, especially by some god-like or computer-like force.

Oh, I thought it was a corruption of a more common meaning of PW, but then, that would mean you were the P! :gap:
